Back and upgraded to the LT family of the reels, the Daiwa Tierra LT 3000 Spinning Reel is now feature-packed with Daiwa's LT Concept, Metal Alloy body, Tough Digigear, and a new Long Cast ABS spool. Tierra LT is designed to meet the needs of the modern angler. With the LT Concept delivering lightness and toughness, Tierra LT is also gifted with a host of Daiwa's industry-leading technologies including Air Rotor, ATD drag, CRBB bearings, EVA Knob, and Wire Bail.

ABS Long Cast Spool Technology
Compared to conventional spools, the LC-ABS has been shown to increase the average flight distance by approx. 5% due to its reduced weight and modified shape.

Air Rotor Lightweight Rotor
Lighter, stronger and more balanced than any rotor system that's come before, 'Air Rotor' delivers a great leap forward in rotor design and function and delivers the ultimate line roller support. Made from Zaion and featuring a redesigned arch that disperses pressure to the lower section of the rotor to reduce stressing and flexing, the design is further enhanced with a hollowed out construction reducing weight, while increasing reel sensitivity and rotational balance.

ATD - Automatic Tournament Drag
Daiwa's Automatic Tournament Drag uses an improved drag grease that exhibits a low viscosity at rest yet becomes more viscous immediately after drag start up. This reduces initial drag start-up inertia and combined with the structural changes of the ATD Drag System results in a smoother drag from the initial hook up.

CRBB - Corrosion Resistant Ball Bearings
Lasting 12 times longer than standard stainless-steel bearings Daiwa's CRBBs feature specially treated stainless steel, and a protective shield on the bearing race that seals out sand, fine grit, salt crystals and other abrasives. The result is a longer lasting bearing that's protected from the corrosive elements that destroy traditional bearings.

Round EVA Knob
Delivered enhanced angler comfort and contact, EVA knobs provide optimum contact in wet conditions.

Infinite Anti-Reverse
Daiwa's advanced system that limits rearward backplay handle movement to almost zero for solid hooksets with less shock to the reel. The result is the elimination of handle slap-back and the unwanted release of line.

LT Concept
LT (Light Tough) technology is based four key elements, Lighter, Tougher, more drag, and more bearings. Featuring a new compact body design and Tough Digigear LT reels introduce a new level of lightness and toughness to spin reel design.

Metal/Alloy Body
Rock solid in strength and performance, alloy allows a reel to be created that are light, yet strong, and is supremely rigid and highly corrosion resistant.

Perfect Line Stopper
Daiwa's new larger rectangular flexible clip that can be used from all line angles and from light to heavy lines.

Pin Through Handle
An inline, pin-through handle assembly makes handle removal and installation simple and quick, with the handle inserted through the reel then secured into place with a threaded screw cap.

Tough Digigear: Large diameter, bigger teeth
A further evolution of its predecessor Digigear, Tough Digigear is our brand new digitally designed, machine cut gearing system that ensures ultimate gear precision, rotational smoothness, and strength.

Wirebail
Featured on entry level reels Wire Bail is light, strong, ultra-smooth and protrusion free, allowing line to slide effortless along the bail towards the line roller.
