Momoi is the pioneer of fishing line developments. In 1951, it became the first company in the world to adopt synthetic fiber as the material for fishing lines. They began manufacturing nylon monofilaments since around 1955, shortly after the popularization of synthetic fiber. Since then, through repeated failure and success, they acquired the technology to produce high quality synthetic fiber. Weaving its history for over 100 years, Momoi will persist on their “dedication to quality” spirit and continue to provide high quality fishing lines to the world.
