The Reel
The TiCA Oxean OX50TS 2-Speed Game Reel features a one-piece, corrosion resistant lightweight graphite frame. The dual carbon drag plates sit either side of the spool to ensure smoothness and dissipate heat. Maximum drag is rated at 18kg. There's an extra loud line out alarm so you can easily hear the fish strike. The two speed ratios are 3.2:1/1.4:1 giving line retrieve rates of 96.5cm/42.2cm per handle turn at full spool. 6 sealed precision stainless steel rust resistant ball bearings provide smoothness and reliability. The Oxean is equally at home trolling for Tuna and Marlin in summer, or deep water bottom fishing with braid for Hapuka or Broadbill in winter.

The Rod
The Kilwell Stand-Up Game Rod is designed for NZ conditions. It’s made using a blend of durable E-glass infused with graphite under high pressure results with proven performance. This rod features heavy duty gold insert hard guides, roller tip and graphite durabutt.

The Line
The Strike Pro Hi-Vis IGFA Tournament Monofilament is an ultra-strong IGFA-compliant line that’s manufactured to the finest tolerances under technical support and nylon materials. It’s 6x more abrasion-resistant than most other IGFA class nylon lines and has soft and very high knot strength. This line is recommended for tournament anglers fishing under International Game Fishing Association rules. This 24kg rated monofilament will get you your target fish and help you reel in more.
