The Reel
The PENN Fathom 80 Wireless Electric Reel is an innovative, first-of-its-kind reel. Built on the legendary platform of the Fathom II Lever Drag reels, it powers your game to the next level. Featuring a fully integrated and replaceable lithium-Ion battery pack, you never have to be worried about being tied down with cords or limited to spots with a plug.
With a true digital line counter based on line diameter inputs, it powers the autostop feature for true hands-free retrieval, with an override feature if you wish to run the speed control manually. The powerful brushless motor easily handles as much drag as you wish to run, with speeds allowing you to target a range of species. Plus, the kit includes reel, battery and charger.

Built off a sturdy composite blank featuring PENN’s SLS graphite, the PENN Fathom Deep Drop Game Rod pairs perfectly with the Fathom Electric reel series. It features a sturdy PENN aluminium bent butt. It's designed to be fished from a rod holder with dual aluminium lock rings, keeping your reel secure.
A bulletproof guide system featuring heavy-duty SeaGuide components and a PacBay swivel roller tip keeps your line running smooth under heavy drag.
