The Trailparts Towbar Wiring Harness is an
advanced intelligent electronic monitoring interface essential for
many late model European vehicles, especially Audi, Jaguar, VW, BMW
and Mercedes. It incorporates all the short circuit protection and
fault elimination of the two units above with several added
features to make it the most versatile towbar interface on the
market.

- Prevents blown vehicle fuses and damage to the vehicle
electronics is protected from a short circuit in the trailer
wiring
- The vehicle lighting will continue to operate even if there is
a short circuit in the trailer wiring
- Automatic short circuit reset
- Suits vehicles that tow trailers with either LED or
incandescent tail-lights
- Vehicle fault codes are eliminated by preventing the trailer
being discovered
- Compatible with vehicles that have a single circuit for stop
and tail functions
- Compatible with vehicles with negative switching
- Can reduce vehicle 24 volt output to 12 volts if
required
- Allows trailers with combined Stop / Indicator functions to be towed and vehicles with combined Stop / Indicator functions to tow trailers with these functions separate. A common occurrence on American vehicles
