The cams are fitted with a double ring of Delrin balls and ensure a high working load by distributing the stress uniformly. The design of the cams eases the insertion of the rope and prevents the latter from being torn thanks to the rounded edges. The stainless steel springs are of a new conception and have been tested on more than 50,000 openings. Don't tighten the screws down too hard. Ball bearing cam cleats should be washed regularly with fresh water.
