Designed by Diamondback rod designer Joe Goodspeed, the Diamondback Generation IV Nymph Fly Rod is engineered for anglers who demand precision, finesse and versatility in their fly-fishing pursuits. Engineered with a specialised action profile to optimise presentation, tippet protection and fish-fighting capabilities while maintaining superior sensitivity and control.
Utilising nano-resin carbon fibre technology, the Gen IV is constructed for strength and power without excessive weight, ensuring a refined and responsive action. Each model is fitted with an extra light tip and fine-tuned for maximum sensitivity, allowing detection in even the subtlest takes.
The 10ft 2WT model is a finesse tool designed with the versatility to cover most light nymphing work and some overhead casting. It loads easily and with small to medium sized flies or multi-fly rigs on micro leaders. This rod will cast overhead with a true 2WT fly line and single dry or nymph.
