The R1 Regulator
The Atlantis Icon R1 Regulator is made with top quality materials to deliver the performance you need underwater. Tested and proven to be tough and reliable, this regulator is perfect for recreational divers. The first stage is constructed with marine grade 303 stainless steel parts with a chromium-plated brass body and internal working parts that are passivated treated for extra protection and durability. The unbalanced piston is rated at 135-145 PSI for maximum ease of breathing.
The Icon R1’s second stage is non-adjustable and features a downstream demand valve with external air intake adjustment. The parts are also made from marine grade 303 stainless steel and equipped with passivated treated internal working parts. It’s rated with a 150 PSI maximum intermediate pressure. The Octopus Regulator
The Atlantis Icon 01 Octopus Regulator features a tested and proven design that’s simple, robust and cost-effective. It’s equipped with a non-adjustable 2nd stage and a downstream demand valve. This regulator is also rated with a 150 PSI maximum intermediate pressure. And 1.2 to 1.4 CIW inhalation effort. Made with top=quality materials, the Atlantis Icon 01 Octopus Regulator will have you breathing easy underwater.
The Dive Gauge
The Atlantis Icon SG1 Gauge features a well-thought-out configuration and design for maximum durability and performance. It’s equipped with nickel-plated modules and polycarbonate glass for extra toughness. It also has a maximum depth needle which records maximum depth reached. This gauge comes with an HP hose and a superior southern hemisphere compass with a side-read window.
Atlantis Quest BCD Features:
- Rugged 1000 denier construction.
- Denier is made from non-fade solution dye materials which greatly slows down the fading process. This helps make your BCD looking newer for longer!
- The internal air cell is coated with TPU (Thermal Poly Urethane) to improve reliability and durability.
- Fully adjustable shoulder straps and cummerbund for custom fit. Integrated padded back pack.
- CQR full weight integrated system for better distribution of lead, eliminating the need to wear a weight belt.
- Sternum strap for improved fitting. These straps are removable.
- Hard Back Pack for extra stability and strength.
- Two large self-draining zip pockets.
- Fitted with four metal accessory D-Rings.
Atlantis Quest BCD QA (quality assurance) final testing procedure:
First Step
The entire Air Cell (the main inflation part of the BCD) is fully inflated and deflated for 25 cycles. Followed by a 2 hour stand test whilst fully inflated. If the Air Cell fails at any time during this step, it is destroyed.
Second Step
The entire Air Cell is once again inflated and deflated for 25 cycles followed by the 4 hour stand test whilst fully inflated. If the Air Cell fails at any time during this step, it is destroyed.
Final Step
The final step is that Atlantis fully inflates the BCD and leave it to stand for 24 hours. The OPVs (over pressure valves) are also individually given a final 2.5 lb and 4.0 lb pressure tests. If the Air Cell or OPVs fail at any time during this step, they are destroyed.
