The Sharkskin Chillproof Watersports Heavy-Duty Gloves is a pair featuring 2 layer amara palm and extra reinforcing on the inside of the thumb and over the top of the forefinger. HD stands for 'heavy duty' and with the Chillproof 'back of hand' for warmth, these gloves are perfect for handling ropes, intense jigging for fish and other water sports activities where you want extra protection from abrasion as well as the cold. These come in UNISEX FIT.
Sharkskin Chillproof Watersports Heavy-Duty Gloves is made with an aquatic specific, windproof 3-layer composite material that has been developed for water sports athletes. The comfortable ‘micro fleece’ layer is next to the skin and ‘wicks’ moisture and sweat away from the body to help keep you dry. The second middle ‘technical’ layer is 100% windproof yet breathes to regulate body temperature while stopping windchill. The third outer layer is a nylon/lycra blend for abrasion resistance and 4 way stretch. It is also UV resistant for sun protection and has a durable water repellent finish (DWR) to provide a protective shell that ‘sheds’ water. The three layers of Sharkskin when combined together provide the equivalent warmth of a 2.5 to 3mm wetsuit material, but unlike a wetsuit Sharkskin Chillproof stops windchill.
