In a SeaTalk installation, the Raymarine SeaTalkng 5-Way Connector is used to connect up to 3 spur cables to the backbone cable. It has sockets for five SeaTalk NG cables - a blue backbone cable either side and 3 white spur cables. This accessory allows data and power to be carried to the backbone from the attached devices. So be sure your SeaTalkng network is properly connected. Unused sockets should be capped to keep the system watertight.
