This informative poster is the result of the first ever multibeam
mapping survey of the Wellington Harbour. The survey collected
5.765 billion high frequency soundings to map water depth and
seafloor substrate in the entire harbour. This revealed features
such as the South Seas Ship Wreck, freshwater springs, and
'sediment waves' produced by the action of waves and tidal currents
on fine sediments. The poster is approximately 60 cm x 85 cm.
