The Reel
The new Daiwa 21 Freams LT 3000 Light Tackle Spinning Reel is the first to feature the brand new ZAION V construction. ZAION V is an evolution of Daiwa's famous ZAION technology and enables the use of this material in reels much lower in price than ever before. ZAION V is significantly stronger than the previous Carbon Light material from the 18 Freams LT and will deliver a much more rigid body. ZAION V is also much lighter than traditional composite materials which also means the new Freams LT is not only stronger, but also much lighter. 21 Freams LT continues the global success of the previous model with Tough Digigear design and LT concept combining to produce a lightweight but powerful reel. Daiwa's ATD Drag produces smooth and consistent drag performance and the LC ABS spool and Airbail architecture means longer casts and less line trouble.

HVF Nanoplus
At the very core of the TD Hyper is Daiwa's HVF Nanoplus technology. HVF Nanoplus combines precise resin control with unidirectional graphite fibre to produce a blank with maximum graphite density and a light responsive action. Blank performance is further enhanced courtesy of X45, by eliminating twist and preventing the blank from losing its round form, X45 allows a lighter a small diameter blank to be made, and lighter more dynamic rod to be created.

Developed to eliminate blank twist and increase power, X45 features a Bias Wrap Construction, left/right 45 degree carbon weave within the blank. X45 radically improves rod strength and durability by eliminating twist and preventing the blank from losing its round form. The elimination of this twist allows for a lighter, stronger and more powerful and sensitive rod.
