Ground-breaking battery fuel cell technology
The HYDRACELL HC2D Oxygen Fuel Cell is a water-activated oxygen fuel cell that offers longevity of shelf life, extended usage times, lower operational costs, and operates (and is disposed of) without toxic emissions. It's the power source for HYDRACELL Aqua Pro and Sharklight LED torches.
HC2D cells can be stored sealed, prior to first use, for 25+ years. They are activated to full capacity by simply dipping in water for 15 seconds. Once activated the cells will continue to operate under load, requiring only periodic re-hydration. At the end of the useful lifetime of the cells, they can be easily replaced.
