Motor-compatible rudder for easy steering
The Bixpy Universal Versa Rudder Kit with Pole Steering is the first rudder on the market specifically designed to be motor-compatible. Made from anodised aluminium and glass-filled nylon, it is suitable for both freshwater and saltwater use.
The rudder features a tail for improved turning, wheels to assist with raising and lowering, and a quick-release pin for easy removal. Its double-hinged 90-degree Slide & Stow mechanism lets you quickly lift the rudder completely out of the water, while the gravity-driven locking mechanism keeps it in position when travelling forward or in reverse under motor power.
The moulded 10mm stainless steel pin makes installation straightforward and allows the Versa Rudder™ to replace most existing rudders. The included Pole Steering system is designed for kayaks without existing rudder steering lines and includes the Bixpy Telescopic Steering Handle for control.
