Strong, lightweight composite thru-hull fitting
The TruDesign Skin Fittings with Tail are made from glass-reinforced nylon composite for a strong, durable and lightweight alternative to metal fittings. The composite construction is resistant to corrosion and does not have the electrical bonding issues of metal fittings. Certified by the International Marine Certification Institute (IMCI) to meet ISO 9093:2021 for sizes 3/4in and above, these skin fittings are designed for above-waterline applications.
TruDesign Skin Fitting with Tail Features:
- Glass fibre reinforced nylon composite construction
- Suitable for aluminium, steel, wood and GRP hulls
- Suitable for marine conditions from -40°C to +110°C
- UV resistant
- Chemical resistant to diesel, petrol, household chemicals and antifouling paints
- Paintable with all types of antifouling
- IMCI certified from 3/4in and above to ISO 9093:2021
- For above-waterline use only
