The Rod

PENN's RCB2 blank pairs a rolled composite core with outer layers of longitudinal glass for a lightweight, thin, parabolic blank that flexes from grip to tip and spreads the load for extra durability, giving you the balance and recoil to work lures over reef structure or into suspended schools in both shallow and deep water. Tangle-free Fuji K frame guides with SiC inserts, a Fuji reel seat and contoured high-density EVA grips give it a technical, sensitive and premium finish.
The Braid
If you hate tip wraps and wind knots, you're going to love the Berkley ProSpec X8 UltraCast Braid. It's made from eight tightly woven 100% PE fibres put through a cold bonding process, which adds body to the line so it lies flat on the spool and shoots through the guides without wrapping. It's super smooth and great for long distance casts, and the aqua camo colour is highly visible above the water so it's easy to detect a bite and see where you're casting. Great knot strength and superior abrasion resistance make it a proper performance fishing line.
