The Reel
The TiCA Ezi-Cast EC2500 Spinning Reel is smooth, powerful and durable, just like a good spin reel should be, and it's great value for money in this size. The anodised aluminium spool and computer balanced rotor are sealed and the bearings shielded to keep water, dust and sand out of the bearings and gear system, while a lightweight frame and comfortable handle knob give it an amazing feel in the hand. An anti-twist line rotor and roller keep the line behaving, and with enhanced shaft strength, a strong smooth drag and a 5.2:1 gear ratio it handles the species you're likely to run into.
